All about Scrapi and how to get it
470 - Bailey Photoset
This is a shot of Bailey, our new blue heeler puppy sitting outside on his first night at our house yesterday evening. He’s still a bit sleepy, but getting more and more rambunctious. He is very willing to let the girls doll over him, and is actually getting along right fine with the cats.
He’ll be very loyal and protective once he gets a bit older; a great quality that makes me feel better when the girls all go out for walks in the neighborhood.
469 - How Many Seattle City Workers Does it Take to Watch Cement Dry?
So I work a block or two from the latest water main break in Seattle. It was a pretty bad break of a 24″ main. So bad it created a huge sinkhole that enveloped two cars and shut a drawbridge for the better part of two days.
Here’s a picture that came out in the Seattle Times of the workers making sure the latest fix of reinforcing the girders with cement to ensure the bridge won’t collapse to reopen it to traffic.
Notice that one of these guys is actually working. It’s almost like a where’s Waldo picture…
468 - IM Accessibility
I’ve recently dropped my Sidekick for a Motorola Q. More on that later, but I wanted to let y’all know that I’m no longer on IM basically 24/7. Now, the best way to reach me is via email, my Grandcentral number (206-428-7973), or my push email account of m y k o l e a r y A T m a i l 2 w e b D O T c o m for the more urgent of needs.
I am on MSN IM occasionally on it and can jump on at any point, but I’m afraid I haven’t found a good AIM alternative that is free or cheap yet. If you know of one that is as great as Agile Messenger but not quite as spendy, please let me know.
